Table Tennis

The loop drive is the primary attacking stroke of serious players today. A loop is basically a spinny counterpart of a drive, emphasizing topspin over forward motion.
The chop is the mainstay of advanced defensive players. Essentially an extreme backspin shot, the ball tends to travel in a very flat trajectory and bounce low.
The serve can bounce more than one time on your opponent's side of the table. If it does bounce more than once, this is a point for the server, since the receiver must hit the ball after the ball has bounced only once on his side of the table.
Sidespin is produced by brushing your racket against the ball in a sideways motion. Depending on whether your racket moves to the right or to the left, you'll impart different sidespin
