Brain Lara is the first and only cricketer to score 400 runs in a single innings in a test match. He scored the 400 runs against England at Antigua in 2004. His 400 not out also made him the second player (after Donald Bradman) to score two Test triple-centuries, and the second (after Bill Ponsford) to score two first-class quadruple-centuries.
