Dravid has received immense success as the coach of the under 19 Indian Cricket Team. He led them to the World Cup finals this year. He wants to continue doing what he does best, and we are proud of him for that. Money, fame or power, nothing could lure him from doing what he wants to do. He is coaching the future cricket stars, and we wish him all the best for that.
BCCI president, Anurag Thakur said
“I REQUESTED RAHUL DRAVID TO COACH THE INDIAN TEAM. HE DIDN’T SAY NO, BUT SAID THAT HE WILL WORK FOR THE JUNIOR TEAM. THAT IS THE GOOD THING ABOUT DRAVID. HE DIDN’T GO FOR THE SENIOR TEAM POST, BIG MONEY AND ALL. HE WANTED TO WORK FOR THE JUNIOR CRICKETERS AND NOT THE SENIORTEAM,”
