The requirement that Master athletes (35 and older) be clean shaven at weigh-ins has been changed to allow moustaches and neatly trimmed beards of less than two (2) inches in length.

The Olympic (or International) distance triathlon is 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run.

Yet when run as the qualifier or at the Olympics, this is draft legal. Where as all tris of that distance I have ever raced (since I will never be fast enough to qualify) are not draft legal.

Why the difference?

When the International Olympic Committee was formed in 1894 by Pierre de Coubertin, he intended the athletes competing in the Olympics to only be amateur athletes.
